The Afghan news just grew worse. Where’s the bottom?

Afghanistan’s President Hamid Karzai needs to come sell ads for my newspaper. This guy Karzai — this worthless scoundrel — knows no shame.

Now, the guy (who so often rips and disrespects our forces who are there serving his country) is literally demanding we commit to funding his troops well into the future. (See story.)

And the good news doesn’t stop there. Just a couple weeks after France decided to exit early, now Australia has announced the same intentions.

And in case we’d forgotten how over-stretched and -worked our troops are, we got another photo story this week involving U.S. troops and dead insurgents.

Wonder if Gen. Allen still thinks the mission’s on track? (Afghan mission “on track,” and even George Washington rolls his eyes)

All of this just further reinforces my position from a couple of months ago.

Let’s get out of Afghanistan, like now

My required daily sales spiel: Want to read a crazy good, fast-moving, shoot-’em-up novel? Then go buy “Little Man, and the Dixon County War.” It’s gone as high as below 21,000 on the Amazon paid Kindle list — no small accomplishment — and the reviews say it rocks. Don’t have a Kindle? Read it from your computer, laptop, ipad, phone, or other device. Click here for free download.
