My thoughts on the police movie “End of Watch”

I watched “End of Watch” tonight. (Trailer below.)

The movie rocked. Plenty of action. Strong plot.

“End of Watch” reminded me of my time in the Corps. The brotherhood that existed. The monotony. The insane action that made it worth the shitty pay and bullshit uniform inspections.

If you want to see a great action flick, you’ll definitely dig this. But the violence is intense, and it’s not for the faint of heart. All-in-all though, a great flick that more than earned up to its audience score of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes.

  1. The Brotherhood. You make friends on a level that you will probably never have again. I really miss that. And the chow. Semper Fi.

    • Agreed. And that comes through in the movie with these two Police Officers who went through the Academy together and who share a car together for three years straight. There are absolutely no secrets between them, much like it was when we were in. Semper Fi, Mike. Hope you’re doing well.
