We’ve all heard about the impact drones are having in Afghanistan and other sites in the world. (Drone strikes quadruple on Obama’s watch.) And we’ve all heard about the small hand-launched drones troops have been using.
Well, now they’ve made hand-held robots about the size of a small mouse for use by individual troops. They weigh just over a pound and can dart into rooms and other dangerous places and give the operator a view of what danger awaits them.
Read about them here. You’ll be stunned at this little thing, designed to fit in soldiers’ cargo pockets.
