Call it now: Will Tim Tebow be the Jets starting QB this year?

The Tim Tebow articles are increasingly pessimistic about his chances of becoming a starting quarterback for the New York Jets.

Most these days state he won’t be the starter. Many of the most recent ones talk about him doing lots of special teams work. Some discuss the muscle he’s added in the gym — at the coaching staff’s request — and say if they wanted him to be a good passer, then the coaches would have never been saying that.

It’s been pretty dark days for a Tebow fanatic like me. So it was nice to see a ray of hope this week, even if it was from his hometown paper. Here’s the link.

As I’ve said before, I still think he’ll be the starter by the fifth or sixth game.   (And, no, I’m not one of Tim Tebow’s religious fanatical fans.)

Let’s hear it from those who are out there. Before the pre-season games begin and more analysis emerges, put your stake in the ground and call it — with a date and time stamp by your name. Bottom line: Will Tebow be the Jets starting quarterback this year at all, and if so, beginning when?

P.P.S. Thanks to all who continue to make my novel Little Man, and the Dixon County War a huge success! It’s gone as high as No. 16 on the Amazon UK Paid List (see here and here), landing smack dab between a Louis L’Amour and Zane Grey book. And don’t forget to check out Sold Out if you’re interested. It’s already gone as high as No. 81 on the Amazon Paid List for the category of War. (Link to be uploaded soon.) You can learn more about both books here.

    1. Sweet, man. I knew you’d ante up.

I just hope for once your cunning insight is wrong.

BTW, will you please — for the sake of western civilization — get a blog? We Americans are only getting stupider and I would love to not own a newspaper and be attempting a writing career so that I could say what I really think sometimes!
