The next journey begins, even though its end looks harrowing

Late yesterday, I finally — after two days of struggle and six hours of formatting on Friday night — got my newest book up on Amazon.

Today, I sold four books and had one friend — who’d never read any of my stuff — tell me he’d read through Chapter 6 and loved both the book and the “pace of my writing.”

Tonight, still a bit weary from the one I just finished and really wanting to just take a good week off, I watched the video below, created a new Word document, and began typing my third novel. (It’s three-quarters of the way finished, but written by hand and in one hell of a jam at its end point that I’ll have to try to figure out how to fix. Couldn’t before, not sure I can this time, but I will proceed with faith.)

I just wanted to say as I begin my next adventure that I thank Sifu Shi Yan-Ming, who’s in the video below and who motivates me to no end on an almost daily basis.

And thank you, my friends, who continue to believe in me — just a short guy from the inner city who most people believe is nuts. Your encouragement and kind words push me to no end.

Oak Ridge, Tenn. P.S. Please accept the greatest gift I can give.

P.P.S. Thanks to all who continue to make my novel Little Man, and the Dixon County War a huge success! It’s gone as high as No. 16 on the Amazon UK Paid List (see here and here), landing smack dab between a Louis L’Amour and Zane Grey book. And don’t forget to check out Sold Out if you’re interested. You can learn more about both books here.
